Mr. Richard G. Locke, Jr., a resident of Hampstead, New Hampshire, passed away at Parkland Medical Center in Derry on Friday evening, January 6, 2023. He was 75 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on November 1, 1947, he was the beloved son of the late Richard G., Sr. and Evelyn Casey Locke. Mr. Locke operated his own business (Dick’s Automotive) for many years in Methuen and Lawrence working as an auto mechanic In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his own classic cars, attending auto races, boating and snowmobiling. His biggest enjoyment were his beloved rottweiler’s. He will be dearly missed.
Richard is survived by his loving sons and daughters-in-law; David B. and his wife Rhonda Locke of Freemont, NH and Richard G. Locke III and his wife Karen Wittman of E. Kingston, NH, girlfriend; Gail Spencer of Hampstead, NH and grandchildren; Kendra M. and Sarah E. Locke and Keenan Wittman as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Carol Stankatis of Canterbury NH.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 1 to 4 PM at the Derry-Salem Elks, 39 Shadow Lake Road, Salem, NH 03079. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
