Karen Ruth (Matthews) Pariseau, 62 of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Lahey Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael Stephen Pariseau Sr. with whom she shared the last 39 years of marriage.
She was born on May 30, 1960 in Malden and was the daughter of the late Frank Matthews and the late Ruth (Leighton) Matthews. She was raised in Malden where she attended the area schools graduating from Malden High School with the class of 1978. In 1986, Karen and Michael relocated to Tewksbury to continue building their family.
Karen worked for I.A.T.S.E. Local 775 as a wardrobe attendant, where she made many lifelong friends.
Karen loved singing, especially doing karaoke with family and friends. She enjoyed gambling and traveling, especially anywhere with the warm sun to relax in. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family. Although she had many passions throughout her life, spending time with her loved ones brought her the most happiness.
In addition to her beloved husband, Michael Pariseau Sr. of Tewksbury, she is survived by her children, Amber Pariseau and her fiancé, Daniel White of Salem, NH, Courtney Pariseau and her companion, James Hutchinson of Salem, NH, and Michael Pariseau II and his wife, Michelle of Tewksbury; and her doting grandchildren, Leo, Riley, Daniel, Lillian, and Michael III. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie Holbrook and her husband, Steve of Tewksbury; her niece, Heather Jones and her husband, Robert of Tewksbury; father of her grandchild, John Dausch of Malden; and many close friends she made throughout the years.
In addition to her parents, she was welcomed into heaven by her son, the late Matthew Bryon Pariseau who passed away February 2022, and her brother, the late Scott Matthews.
On Monday, June 12, 2023 all are welcome to attend her graveside funeral service at 1 p.m. at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
