Earl C. "Cliff" Burdick, Jr, 86, of North Stonington passed away on January 5, 2023.
He was born on October 13,1936 in Mystic, CT to Earl C. and Florence (Allen) Burdick. Raised in Mystic, he attended local schools.
He was employed by the State of CT Department of Transportation for 34 years.
Cliff enjoyed camping, NASCAR, his daily visits with friends at the coffee shop, and his weekly lunches at the North Stonington Senior Center. Cliff loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a kind soul who would help anyone without question. He lived a good life.
He is survived by his sons, David Burdick and significant other Denise of Groton, Richard Burdick of Jewett City, Michael Burdick and wife Dorothy of North Stonington; his daughter, Jessica Kessler and husband Eric of North Stonington; 12 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Kimberly Burdick; his siblings Norma Rogers, Margie Balestracci, Richard Burdick, Lois Maye, Dorothy Fusaro, Russell Burdick, Ruth Stone, and Carol Beck.
“Dad, you are in my thoughts and prayers every single day. I cannot put into words how much I will miss you but I know that you are in a place much better than here, where you will be treated like the angel that you are.”
