Meloni, Lucy L. (Dorci) Life long resident of Dedham passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 101. Daughter of the late Angelo Dorci and Rosina (Lupo). Wife of the late Peter J. Meloni. She leaves her sister Elaine (Dorci) Amos and her husband Peter Amos of Dedham. Sister of the late Joseph, Albert, Frederick Dorci and Louise (Dorci) Lovejoy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lucy enjoyed refinishing the woodwork in her home, sewing and cake decorating. She was a very loving, kind and considerate lady. She will be forever missed. Lucy was a member of the Dedham Historical Society.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM, on Wednesday, January 11, from 8:30-10:15am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10:30am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd.
