Obituary

Tyler, David M., 59, of Tarkiln Road, Mapleville, Deputy Chief of Enforcement for DEM, State of RI before retiring in 2002, died Friday, May 26, 2006, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Gloria R. (Blais) Tyler.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Charles D. and Lillian (Miller) Tyler, Sr. He had been a resident of Mapleville for 30 years previously living in Lincoln. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and Cumberland Beagle Club. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca T. Limoges of Thompson, CT, a son Daniel D. Tyler of Smithfield and two grandchildren, Tyler and Benjamin. He was the brother of the late Charles D. Tyler, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11am in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
