Lenora L. Lafleche, 67, of Woonsocket died Monday January 3, 2023 at Woonsocket Health Center. She was the wife of the late Roland H. Lafleche and the late Gerard Laflamme, Sr.
Born in Worcester she was a daughter of the late Rene Daigle, Sr. and Eleanor (McKeown) Daigle. She grew up in Whitinsville. Over the years she lived in Attleboro, Southbridge, New Hampshire and Woonsocket.
Lenora worked as a security guard at a number of retail stores and warehouses in the region. She also worked at Evergreen nursing home in Woonsocket for several years.
Lenora enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was very skilled at crocheting and making ceramics.
Lenora loved her family with all her heart. She will be remembered and loved and just love her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the moon and back!
Lenora is survived by her daughter Therese Knight and her late husband Alan Knight Sr of Woonsocket, and her two sons Gerard Laflamme, Jr. and his wife Jamie of Danielson, CT and Paul Laflamme and his wife Paula of Northbridge. She was the sister of Ernest, Robert, Rene Jr. and Troy Daigle, Eleanor Choummanivong, and Tina, Lorraine, Deborah and Therese Daigle and the late Charles Daigle and Wayne Savage. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren (with 2 more on the way! ) 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Lenora is also survived by her stepchildren Arthur and Melissa Lafleche, Hallet Merrick and Brenda Trifone and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor and remember Lenora at visiting hours on Monday January 9, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
