Malcolm Light, 82, of Lenox passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at his residence. His memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born December 30, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Light was the son of the late Harry Light and Madeline Hirsch Light. Before retiring, he was the manager of the Maintenance Department at the post office in Hollywood, Florida. He loved his family; watching wrestling; and had an interest in wildcats.
Mr. Light is survived by his wife, Bettye Hurt Light of Lenox, who he married in 1964; one daughter, Wendy Light of Lenox; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Sandy Light and Robert and Leslie Light, all of Sarasota, Florida; two grandchildren, Brittany Pate and her husband Brannon and Brandon Fronebarger; one great-grandson, Oliver Pate; and several nieces and nephews.
