MICARELLI, Michael G. Age 67, of Dedham, formerly of West Roxbury and Hyde Park passed into eternal life on December 30, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Loving husband of 41 years to Brenda (McHowell) Micarelli of Dedham. Cherished father of Jennifer Schofield and her husband Martin of Medway, Michelle Micarelli of Boston and the late James Micarelli of Dedham. Proud grandfather of Peter Schofield of Medway. Beloved brother of Mark Micarelli and his partner Supon of Seattle, WA, Stephen Micarelli of Wells, ME, Janet Phelan and her husband Kevin of Weymouth, and Joan Fournier and her husband Richard of Norton. Dear Uncle to Elisa Gangemi of Boston, Michael Phelan of Weymouth, Richard Phelan of Norwood and Nicholas Phelan of Houston, TX. Predeceased by his parents, George and Mary (Lydon) and sister Ellen Buechel who passed away five days earlier on Christmas Day. Michael was a graduate of Boston Latin School and Stonehill College and served as a Probation Officer for over 35 years at Dorchester District Court and Dedham District Court before retiring early due to his health. During his healthy years, he loved tending to his garden, growing herbs and vegetables, cooking and grilling. He loved blaring his records with a good glass of bourbon or wine and spending time with family and friends. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, January 6th at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 11:30am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
