LOWELL--Rita A. Quinn, a long time Belvidere resident, died after a long illness, on Saturday May 27th. She was the wife of the late William J. Quinn, a longtime pharmacist in Lowell, and the sister-in-law of the late Rev. Joseph P. Quinn, OMI.
She was born in Dracut, the daughter of the late John and Sarah Scanlon, and was a graduate of Dracut High School.
Mrs. Quinn had been employed for over 20 years at Medical Associates in Chelmsford. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Rosemary A. Cloutier, and her husband Rene of Lowell; Elizabeth A. Slein, and husband Kevin, of Westford; and Kathleen A. Hanseler, of North Andover; her daughter-in-law: Sally C. Quinn, of Lowell. She was the proud grand parent of Matthew W. Cloutier, Quinn Mariah Slein, Ryan P. Hanseler, and Gregory Hanseler; also several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late William J. Quinn and Joseph W. Quinn.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 31st, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Thursday, June 1st, at 11 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
