Mrs. Gilda N. 'Jill' (Boeri) Patterson of Medford, beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Patterson, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday morning, December 27, 2022. She was 71 years young.
Jill is survived by her loving sons Jeffrey T. Patterson and his wife Caitlin McClain of Hyde Park, Brian F. and his wife Susan Patterson of Montvale, New Jersey, and the late Baby Mark. Grandmother of Colin, Nate, Patrick, Rory, and Reece. Sister of Lois (Boeri) Salvato of Medford and Peter Boeri and his wife Tricia Boeri of Schenectady, New York, sister-in-law to Karen Boeri, Anne (Joe) Pisarri, Kazy (John) Grzelcyk, Carol Patterson, Donny LaPorte, Georgia Patterson, Russell Fleming. Jill was also the sister of the late Steve Boeri, sister-in-law of the late Anthony M. Salvato, Jr., Joseph Patterson, Patricia LaPorte, Michael Patterson, and Mary Fleming. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on May 13, 1951, she was the cherished daughter of the late Victor J. and Natalie (Perry) Boeri. Jill was employed as CFO with C. Michael Hazard whom she began working with at the age of 19. She was a proud graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School. Before moving to Long Island, New York in 1992, Jill was active in St. Raphael Parish, including Past Prefect of Our Lady's Sodality. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, tending to her impressive garden, hosting the most wonderful events whether in Medford or on Long Island, and catching up with her many friends and family on the phone. Above all, Jill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all.
Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High Street, Medford on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the church on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
