LIMINGTON- Kenneth “Kenny” Wildes Sr, age 62, passed away on December 27th, 2022, at his home due to ongoing health issues.
He was born in Portland, Maine on November 4th, 1960, son of the late David and Mary (Myrick) Wildes. Kenny graduated from Bonny Eagle High School, then went on to join the military to which he was discharged for a medical reason. Kenny spent his life as a farm laborer, until he could no longer work due to health issues and the farm shutting down. Kenny loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. He also loved working on race cars with family. Kenny had the biggest heart and would help anyone with anything he could.
He is predeceased by his mother and father David and Mary Wildes- sister Kimberly Wildes- brother Joseph Wildes – two sisters in law Yvonne and Sheila Wildes. He is survived by his children Kenneth Wildes Jr of Biddeford- Mary Wildes and her fiancée Aimon Norsworthy of Springvale; brothers David Wildes and his wife Joyce, Chester Wildes, and Wayne Wildes and his wife Geraldine; he is survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, two grandchildren and his ex-wife Joyce Cobbett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday Jan. 12 from 1 - 2 PM, followed by a 2 PM memorial service at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
