In Brockton, Raymond “Bucky” Rogers, age 81, passed away in Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton following a period of declining health on December 27, 2022. Raymond was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” (Perry) Rogers of Taunton. He was born in Attleboro and resided in Norton until the age of 11, the son of the late Raymond E. Rogers & Theresa (Cataloni) Rogers.
Raymond resided most of his life in Taunton. He was employed as a machinist for the Texas Instruments Company retiring after 36 years. Raymond enjoyed golfing, bowling, was an avid NASCAR fan, playing bocce, handball and above all spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Virginia, Raymond leaves his loving daughter Deborah Hebert of Taunton, his granddaughter, Casey Carvalho of Swansea and great granddaughter Cadence McConaghy and late grandchildren, Raymond and Margaret Carvalho. Raymond also leaves his extended family, Sheila, Peggy, and Tommy, his niece and nephew Leslie and Andora and several other nieces and nephews and also his late sister Sandra and husband Leslie Rose.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family and he will be buried in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
