Robert P. Ouellette, 69, died December 26, 2022 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on May 6, 1953 the son of Albert and Therese (Boulanger) Ouellette.
He attended local schools prior to moving to Nashua and graduating from Nashua High School.
He graduated from Newbury Junior College in 1982
He began working with his father at Ouellette Opticians in 1977, then opened up Ouellette Opticians in Milford, Peterborough and finally in Manchester.
He was past President of Opticians Society of NH.
He loved watching the New England Patriots since 1964. He also enjoyed softball, umpiring, bowling, skiing and golfing.
Family members include his wife of 46 years, Therese (Gaumont) Ouellette of Manchester, one son, Jeffrey Ouellette and his wife, Arcadia of Salt Lake City, UT., one daughter, Michelle Lapidus and he husband, David of Oklahoma City, OK., two cousins, Donna Hanneman and Sandy Beagin. He also loved his lap cat, Patty.
A calling hour will take place on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
Committal prayers and military honors will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
