Sheila Georges (59) of Brockton died December 22nd. She was the wife of Lionel Deguerre of Brockton, Mass.
She was born in Pernier, Haiti, the daughter of the late Jean Leroi Georges and Marthe Menaise (Nee Reme) Georges. Sheila was a retired nursing assistant and was an ordained minister in the United States and in Haiti. She was a devoted member of the Church of God in Brockton, a terrific mother of three, God Mother to the Men’s Ministry, and an extended mother to all who knew her. She was a deeply caring woman who was always happy to help those in need, in her community and beyond.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Widade Deguerre, 2 sons, Marvin Oscar Deguerre and Joshua Deguerre, her stepson Olson Deguerre and 2 brothers, Yvon Georges and Carnot Georges.
Funeral Services in the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street Brockton Saturday January 7, 2023. Viewing in the Church from 8am prior to services. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
