Margaret A. “Peggy” O’Brien age 83 of Salem, NH, died Saturday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 16 years, formerly of Derry, NH.
Peggy was a retired homemaker. She had previously worked as a host for various country clubs in Colorado. She was also the very first Sales Woman for Kaps Clothing Store in Lawrence, MA. She was a member of the American Legion & Salem VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary in Salem, NH. Peggy will always be known as a prolific bridge player and enjoyed teaching the game to many people. As well as her family, she had many friends across the country that will miss her.
She was predeceased by her former husband Robert O’Donnell
She is survived by 2 Daughters: Erin & her Husband James Couch of Putnam, CT

1 Son: G. Dan O’Brien of Derry, NH
Daughter in Law: Janice Altman of Hudson, NH
5 Grandchildren
Memorial calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 31 from 4-6:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
