Faith (Teixeira) Demiranda, 71, of Plymouth, Massachusetts went to be with her Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband Manuel Demiranda, her daughter Genna Demiranda, son Chip Demiranda and his wife, Christie. Survivors also include her granddaughter, Allison Faith, her brother Ronald Teixeira, her nephew Christian Gonsalves; five sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law. She was the sister of the late Joel Teixeira.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Pantaleao and Georgina Teixeira. She lived in Marion for over 40 years, most recently in Cedarville.
Faith was an energetic and talented wife, mother, entrepreneur, and loyal friend to many. She selflessly loved her husband and children. Faith carried herself with dignity, and was known for her kindness, warmth and generosity of spirit. She was passionate about many things, most importantly, passing on her family roots to her children and sharing her faith in God. Faith zealously discussed politics and current events with friends and family, always with a sense of humor and levity that brought laughter and smiles to everyone. She was acutely aware of the needs of others and expressed a willingness to help, particularly when people were going through difficult times. She was certainly the rock and anchor of her family. Many gravitated towards her and were fond of her loyal, faithful and warm nature. She made it her mission to enrich and improve the lives of her children, granddaughter, husband and others.
Faith dedicated over 45 years to the family business that focused on real estate and auto body repair.
She will be deeply missed, and as part of her legacy, she has left us with the memory of knowing an amazing, vibrant and uncompromising woman who taught her family real love and compassion by living it every day, for which the family is eternally grateful.
Per her wishes, a private funeral will be held. Her family will hold a memorial for the public at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to “Never Be Solo” a non-profit organization for suicide prevention and mental health that Faith felt strongly about.
Donations are appreciated and can be sent through the online Payment App, Venmo to: Venmo-Never Be Solo@neverbesolo
