CHICOPEE – Brian T. “Bruiser” Colcombe, 60, of Chicopee, was Called Home on Thursday, December 22, 2022. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Worcester on January 10, 1962, a beloved son of the late Kenneth H. and A. Joyce (Nierodzinski) Colcombe. He was raised in Springfield, moved to Agawam in 1976, graduated from Agawam High School in 1981, and moved to Chicopee in 2004 where he lived the remainder of his life. He was the owner and operator of the BTC Tree Care Company in Chicopee. He previously was employed as a tree cutter for the Department of Public Works in Chicopee and was a tractor trailer driver for the Two Brothers’ Leasing Company in Springfield. Brian enjoyed the simple things in life, most especially loved being outdoors and fishing. He leaves his former wife, Mary (Downing) Colcombe of Chicopee; his loving son, Cooper F. Colcombe of Chicopee; his two dear brothers, Marc H. Colcombe and his wife, Riché, of Hillsborough, NH, and Craig A. Colcombe of Island Pond, VT; his cherished niece, Felicia M. Colcombe of Chicopee; and many friends and extended family members. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
