Carol Lora Moran, 83, of Durham, NH, died Thursday, December 23, 2022, in the Harmony Homes at Hickory Pond, Durham, NH. She was born on December 31, 1938 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Raymond and Estelle (Klapekis) Collins. Carol worked at Mass General Hospital, in Boston as a medical records clerk. She enjoyed camping in Maine with her husband and taking walks in the woods.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Marino and husband Robert of Kingston, NH, four sons, Michael Moran of San Diego, CA, Thomas Moran of Derry, NH, Robert Moran and his wife Susan of Exeter, NH, and Daniel Moran of Loxahatchee, FL; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Diana Mattiello of PA, and Christine Gennaco of Revere, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Richard P. Moran in 2006 and her two brothers Ralph Collins and Leonard Collins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 9 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Catholic prayers will be offered at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
