Louise (Lo Stocco) Zannella, of Melrose, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on December 19th. She was 91. Born and raised in Fondi, Italy, she was the cherished daughter of the late Paolo and Antonietta (Fiorilla) Lo Stocco.
Louise was fiercely devoted to her family, especially when it came to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She loved having her family over for dinner, everyone enjoyed her homemade Italian delicacies. When Louise was not spending time with her family, she liked to knit and sew.
Louise was the beloved wife of the late Gino Zannella. She was the devoted mother of Anthony Zannella and his wife JoAnn, and Massimo Zannella and his wife Kristen. She was the loving Nonna of Anthony, Julianna, Ryan and Abby. She was the dear sister of Rosa Grieco and the late Elisa Lo Stocco and Carolina Bianchi. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Louise’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, December 27th at 8:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
