Earle R. Harrison, Jr., 85 of Tewksbury, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Wigon) Harrison, with whom he celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past February.
He was born on September 2, 1937 in Boston, MA, and was the son of the late Veronica (Zemotel) Harrison. Earle served in the US Army as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne from 1954 to 1958 and was honorably discharged.
He later worked as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Cambridge for 30 years before retiring. After that he continued to work at the North Reading Stop & Shop, until he fully retired.
He loved to spend time outside taking meticulous care of his yard and playing Keno.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Karyn Harrison of Tewksbury, his grandson, Michael Harrison, his wife, Megan and great granddaughter, Emily of North Andover; his grandson Erik Harrison of Salisbury and preceded in death by his grandson the late Jonathan Harrison of Salisbury. He is also survived by his sister, Eileen Longo of New Hampshire.
