Patricia A. Tessitore, 67

Patricia A. (Vittorini) Tessitore, age 67, of Norton, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas R. “Nick” Tessitore, to whom she was wed for thirty-eight years.
Born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany on April 17, 1955, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Martin) Vittorini.
Patti grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Hyde Park and was a 1973 graduate of Hyde Park High School. Later in life, she returned to school and in 2008 graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College.
Prior to retiring, Patti had worked for twenty-five years at Wheaton College in Norton as a Building Services Manager. She was a resident of Norton for the past thirty-four years and was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Norton.
Patti loved spending time with her family and more than anything else being “Mimi” to her granddaughter Vivian. She was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Walpole Country Club. Patti also treasured the time spent and memories created at Marshfield beaches and at her home in Delray Beach, Florida.
In addition to her beloved husband and cherished granddaughter, she is survived by her devoted daughters Katie Wade and her husband Scott of East Sandwich, Trisha Pollice and her husband Stephen of Weymouth and Amy Tessitore of Norton. She was the dear sister of Charles Vittorini and his wife Patricia of Canton, Nancy Vittorini of North Attleboro, Maryellen Hopkins and her husband Robert of Attleboro, the late David Vittorini, who is survived by his wife Susan Vittorini of Hyde Park and the late Jack Vittorini. She was affectionately named “KuKu” by her first-born nephew Chris and is also survived by many other loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 27th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Patti’s family would prefer that donations in her memory be made to Wheaton College, 26 East Main Street, Norton, MA 02766.
