Patricia M. (Scola) Iozza passed away on Sunday, December 18th with her caring husband, John, by her side. She was 81. Born in Boston and a lifelong resident of Medford, she was the daughter of the late Severino and Mary Scola.
Patricia was a kind, honest and genuine person who loved her family and friends wholeheartedly. She saw the good in others and sincerely wanted the best for everyone. She was fiercely devoted to her family, especially when it came to her grandchildren whose many sporting and performance arts events brought her immense joy.
Patricia helped many homeowners with their financing as a loan officer at Medford Co-Operative bank where she worked the majority of her career.
Patricia was the beloved wife of 57 years to John Iozza. She was the devoted mother of Christine Iozza-Lukkes and her husband Charles, Steven J. Iozza and his wife Lauren, Richard J. Iozza and his wife Heidi, and Maria Iozza-Taylor and her fiancé Joseph Messineo. She was the loving grandmother of Christian, Erik, Grace, Andrew, Derek, Daniel, Kayla, Nicholas and Juliana, and the dear sister of Vivian, Rosemary, Anthony, Richard, Stephen, Paul and Christine.
A wake will be held for Patricia on Thursday, December 22nd from 9 am to 11 am at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford with a funeral service immediately following. Services will conclude with a burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
