Arlene “Sandy” Forbus, born Arlene Helen Johnson, 73, of Wareham, MA, passed away on December 12, 2022 with her family by her side. Arlene was born on November 23, 1949 to the late Arlene and Harold Johnson of Wareham.
She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that's all that ever mattered to her.
Arlene was predeceased by her parents; Arlene and Harold Johnson of Wareham, Ma. She is survived by: her brother Raymond Johnson and his wife Deb Johnson of Pocasset Ma, her daughter Renee Forbus of Wareham, Ma and her son Shawn Forbus and his wife Jamie Andrade of Buzzards Bay, Ma and her grandchildren, Emily Forbus, Joshua Bumpus, Amber Forbus, Dylan Forbus, Shawn Forbus Jr, and Lincoln Forbus, and her first great-grandson Braxton, and her closest friends; Irene, Sarah, Alisa, Paula; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
Sandy was an active, fun loving, spitfire who could tear up the dance floor back in her prime. She was a caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about others. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
Sandy requested for an intimate ceremony for her immediate family. The family wishes to thank all of those who loved and adored her while on this earth. For those who have known Sandy in her fruitful journey with us, we will be having a Celebration of Life for Sandy in 2023.
