Caesar Paul Del Trecco, age 71, passed away on Monday, December 12th, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Raised and educated in Boston’s West End and Medford, MA, he was the son of the late Carmine and Mafalda (Genovese) Del Trecco. Caeser was athletic and well read. He was an actor in several movies and theater productions, and worked as a set builder for Arcadia. He lived for many years in New York and New Jersey.
Caesar was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Smalldone). He was the dear brother of Mario Del Trecco and his wife Caroline, Paul Del Trecco, and Carmine Del Trecco and his wife Adelia. Caesar was a loving uncle to Anthony, Nicholas and Michael, and the cherished nephew of Alfred Del Trecco and his wife Patricia. He is survived by many loving cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18th at 1 PM in Avellino’s Restaurant, 313 Mystic Ave., Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Caesar’s name to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Division Of Development/Jimmy Fund, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
