Mary Patricia (Ashe) Lemos, 66 of Plymouth, MA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. She was the wife of Roger Lemos, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, and a loving mother to her three children, Brandon Lemos, Ryan Lemos, and Jessica Ashe Mercier.
Mary was born on September 16, 1956, in Lowell, MA, and she was one of three daughters to the late Matthew Ashe and the late Rita J. (Chartier) Ashe. She was raised in Lowell, where she attended the area schools and graduated from the University of Lowell with her Bachelor's Degree in business.
In her younger days, she worked for JOANN Fabrics, Wang Laboratories, and Sun Microsystems. More recently, Mary worked in school administration for the towns of Acton-Boxborough and Osterville, before she retired in February 2022. In retirement, she stayed active by playing both golf and pickleball. She also loved taking long walks with her dog Seamus, and she recently picked up knitting.
To say that Mary was a devoted mother would be an understatement. She was unconditionally proud of all her children, and her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Roger of Plymouth, MA, she is survived by her three children, Brandon of Franklin, MA, Ryan of Weymouth, MA, and Jessica of Tiverton, RI; her siblings, Patricia Ashe of Leominster, MA, Cindy Ashe of Nashua, NH, and Robert Ashe of Quincy, MA.

On Sunday, December 18, 2022, all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 2-6 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA (978-458-6816). On Monday morning, her funeral will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m., and her funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 12 6th Street, Lowell, MA.
