Christine Hancock Gray, 77, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Gray will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Melvin Suggs Jr., Alexander Huerta, Jay Gutierrez, Tracy Hale, Tyler Sirmans and Elberth Torres will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 29, 1945, in Tifton, Mrs. Gray was the daughter of the late James Shelley Hancock and Susie Welch Hancock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Willie Gray. She was a homemaker, and she was everybody’s MeMa.
Mrs. Gray is survived by one son, Robbie Griffin of Tifton; two daughters, Kim Rodriguez and Susan Griffin, both of Tifton; her grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda Torres, Ricardo Alcala, Jose Brena, Joseph Brena, Samantha and Keith Hayes, Ashley and Tracy Hale, William Watson, Brittany Watson and Alexis Pitts; and 21 great-grandchildren.
