STERING, Patricia D. “Pat” (Donahue) of Dedham passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022. Beloved wife of Robert S. Stering. Loving and devoted mother of Russell D. Stering, his wife Paula and their children, Colin and Kaitlyn of Stoneham, and Daniel J. Stering, his wife, Patrice and their children, Kenna and Ethan of Sharon. Dear Sister of Margaret E. Bodine of North Brookfield, Irene E. Welch of Dedham, and the late Barbara A. Savi of Dedham and Mary T. Pihl of Framingham. Daughter of the late Albert and Doris (Volmer) Donahue.
Pat treasured relationships and nothing gave her more joy than spending time with family and friends. She was a passionate special education teacher in the Waltham Public School System for nearly three decades.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 8:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Burial will be private in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
