Anne M. Boudreau, 73, died December 7, 2022 with her family by her side at Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 2, 1949 the daughter of Bernard J. and Mary (O’Toole) McCabe Sr.
She had been a bookkeeper for McDevitt Trucks and Quirk Motors.
Family members include her husband of 52 years, Leo A. Boudreau of Manchester; one daughter, Catherine Boudreau and her significant other, Shawn Coulter of New London, CT; one son, David Boudreau and his partner, Simon Heels of Manchester; two brothers, Bernard J. McCabe Jr. of Laconia, and James M. McCabe of Asheville, NC.
Anne was sunny, even on the darkest days. Her empathy was immediate and constant; she treated everyone as an equal. Her self-effacing humor and gentleness clothed a resilient core of intelligence, strength, and grit. She had the rare ability to see the deepest truth, and was an advocate for whomever needed a hand or voice. She was a reader, seamstress, motorcycle rider, traveler, outdoorswoman, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She lived and loved with her whole mind and heart.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH.
A prayer service will take place at 6:30 pm during the calling hours.
