Todd R. Fawcett passed away on December 9, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Lowell, MA February 11, 1953, son of Katherine (Walsh) and Francis G Fawcett.
A lifelong son of Lowell, he attended Lowell High School where he was a starting free-safety on the 1971 Undefeated Red Raider Football Team. Tough as nails, he also wrestled for legendary coach, George Bossi. He later graduated from Cardinal Christian Academy before attending and graduating from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Todd had a passion for the outdoors - enjoying the ocean and fishing, the mountains, and gardening. He worked for many years as a professional landscaper for Machado & Son Landscaping and Paving.
He is survived by his son Keith Fawcett, his wife Joanna, and his two grandchildren Jessica and Alexandra, of Falls Church, Virginia; and his daughter Stephanie Reynolds of Denver, Colorado.
He is pre-deceased by his brother Robert “Bob” Fawcett, who he’s currently out fishing with.
He also leaves: sister-in-law Priscilla Fawcett of Windham NH; his brother David &his wife Dolores Fawcett of Lighthouse Point, FL; his brother Bryan “Buzza” Fawcett and his wife Betsy of Lowell, MA; his nephews Michael Fawcett & his wife Lesley, and their children Grace and Thomas of Amesbury, MA; and Ryan Fawcett & his wife Kristin, and their children Lily-Anne Heywood and Grayson Loehning of Derry, NH; and his many friends across the city of Lowell and beyond.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022 all are welcome to attend his calling hours from 11 a.m.-1p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, 978-458-6816.
His funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1p.m. following the calling hours. All are welcome to join the family in a celebration of Todd’s life from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Golf Club, 141 Staples St, Lowell, MA 01851.
