Nimairi is the grandson of Sworo Aburassen from Limi of Ku’dupi clan/section in Kajo-keji.
He was born in Torit in 1969 at the time of the 1969 coup by Nimairi. That is why the name Nimairi was given to him. He is survived by 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
He started his school in Torit, continued in Juba and completed high school in Khartoum.
He traveled to Egypt in the early or mid 90s and had some higher education studies.
He was amongst the first young men that resettled to the United States in 1998 through Egypt.
He worked at Sheraton, a five star Hotel in Boston
He worked at Radisson Hotel Manchester Airport
He worked at Jack Park in Manchester
And he also worked at a manufacturing factory in Laconia.
Nimairi’s mother, Juan Sworo lives in Juba; his aunt, Mama Jamba Sworo in Australia and an uncle nicknamed Salah Karate in Juba.
Nimairi is survived by his wife, Julia Paulino Waren; a daughter, Emmanuella Guwo Sworo and a son, Waden Lowure Sworo.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in St. Anne- St. Augustin Church at 10 am.
Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
