Norma Y. “Blondie” Andrews (Charette) 91 of Brockton passed away peacefully on December 10th at home where she lived for 74 years. Born in Norton, she was raised and educated in Attleboro before moving to Brockton. She worked for many years for Madalawn Nursing Home in Brockton before retiring.
Norma enjoyed watching football and her favorite team was The Patriots. She also enjoyed taking day trips to the Plymouth waterfront with her husband Jim, shopping and going out for lunch, day trips to the Casino, playing Bingo, and above all spending time with her family. She loved and adored her many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a genuine and kind woman who loved everyone.
She was the beloved wife of the late James A. Andrews Jr. Mother of James Andrews III and his late wife Michelle of Brockton, Cynthia Thompson and her late husband Samuel of Brockton, Pamela Murphy and her fiancé Stan Sicinski of Wareham, Robert Andrews and his wife Helen of Brockton, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Norma was the daughter of the late Leo J & Lucienne E (LaPointe) Charette, sister of the late Leo, Eugene, Roland, Ronald, Joseph, Beatrice Johnson, and Jeannette McGlashing.
Funeral services will be private for the family.
