Barbara Ann (DeCecca) Dionne, born in Wakefield, MA to Frank and Mabel DeCecca on September 19, 1932, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 9, 2022.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband John J. Dionne of 71 years, her daughter Michelle and son in-law Garry Johnson, and son Joseph and daughter in-law Bernice Dionne. She is pre-deceased by her daughter Suzanne, and sons James and Michael. Grandmother to Heather McKinnon, Corey McKinnon and Lauren Henley-McKinnon, John Dionne, Andrew Johnson and Sarah McIntosh, and Serena and Sean Connelly, and great grandmother to Henry McKinnon Glennon and Charlotte Henley-McKinnon.
Barbara was a bubbly, fun-loving woman, who loved to dance, cook, and spend time with her family.
Funeral from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday December 16th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
