Kimberly Ann ‘Kimbobee’ Donoghue, 56 of Hollis, NH passed away after a brief period of declining health on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
She was born in Lowell on January 7, 1966 and was a daughter of the late Joseph Jelley and Jean (Byam) Jelley of Pittsfield, NH. She was raised in Lowell, where she attended the area schools and was in the last graduating class from Keith Hall in 1984.
Kimberly was a communicant of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a past worthy advisor in the Lowell Order of Rainbow Girls. She worked in the payroll department at Bradlee’s for a number of years; and also as a circuit board assembler at Teradyne and Goodwill. She also worked as a camp counselor at Ocean Wood and Groton Wood.
Over the years, she rescued many dogs. She enjoyed arts and crafts, stamping, all sorts of creative things. She was a fierce Uno player and loved music, attending concerts and live bands with her friends. She was also a voracious reader, the works of Stephen King were amongst her favorites. Her tattoos were a proud expression of herself.
Although she never had children of her own, all children were special to her and she had many "favorites" especially her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. She was a dedicated family member, a wonderful human being, the center of her family and the glue that held everyone together.
In addition to her mother, Jean Jelley of Pittsfield, NH, she is survived by her beloved Rob Deschenes, with whom she had been together since 1986, her brothers and sisters, Robert Clough of Costa Rica, James Clough and his wife, Lorenza of Lowell, MA, Jodi Jelley of Hollis, NH, and Jennifer (Jelley) White of Hollis, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
Sister of the late Linda Deschenes, biological daughter of the late Edward Donoghue, adopted daughter of the late Joseph Jelley.
On Tuesday, December 13, 2022 all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 4-7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, 978-458-6816.
