Gloria Elaine Vadnais, 91, of Ojai, CA passed away on December 1st, 2022 in Santa Barbara, CA. Gloria was born in Newark, New Jersey to Charles and Mildred Sipos on August 20th, 1931. She went to Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles, California and graduated in 1949. She wed Dean Vadnais at the Arbor Wedding Chapel in South Gate, California on May 7, 1951. True to their vows, Dean and Gloria remained married for the rest of her life. A longtime residents of Ojai for 70 years, Gloria raised her family there and was active in many charities and civic organizations over the years. She leaves behind many cherished friends and a loving family.
Gloria is survived by her husband Dean of Ojai, her children David Vadnais, Kenneth Vadnais, Cindy Valdez and Lisa Sefton, all of Ojai, her Grandchildren Julie Vadnais of Bend, Oregon, Monique Hauck of Bountiful, Utah, Thomas Vadnais of Boulder, Colorado, Hannah Vadnais of Saint Andrews, Scotland, Rhett Kemp of Ojai, Cameron Kemp of Geneva, Switzerland, Allie Baer of Ojai, and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mildred Sipos of Ojai. The family wishes to thank her caregivers for there kindness and tireless service during these last few years.
A Memorial Service will be held at JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura at 10 AM, Saturday December 17, 2022.
