Joan (Parisi) Calabro of Arlington, MA, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. She was the widow of Stephen A. Calabro and predeceased by her sisters, Frances Conn, Ann DiGiovanni and Josephine Marchio.
Joan was a wonderful and spirited person. She worked for many years for Massachusetts DPW in Arlington, MA. She loved to crochet beautiful afghans for friends and family. She also enjoyed going shopping and out for lunch. Some of her favorites were pizza, Chinese and Italian food, Burger King, ice cream, and custard pie.
Joan will be greatly missed by her children, Lynn Sheehan and her husband Michael of Arlington, MA and Centerville, MA, Jane Miller and her husband Robert of Acton, MA, Judy Mamros and her husband Shawn of Waltham, MA; four grandchildren, Meaghan Sullivan and her husband Jason, Alison Miller, Ryan Sheehan, and Brett Miller and his wife Jenna; and two great-grandchildren, Bryce Sullivan and Gianna Miller; as well as her nieces, nephews, their families and many friends.
