NEW BEDFORD … Wayne Curt Souto, 55, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on, Sunday, December 4, 2022.
He was the husband of Tammy (Santos) Souto.
Wayne was born in New Bedford a son of the late Nathaniel and Mary (Pina) Souto and had lived all of his life in New Bedford.
He held many jobs as a forklift operator.
Mr. Souto enjoyed cooking, yard work, housekeeping, camping, love to spend time with family and loved music.
Survivors include sons: Lance Monteiro; Byron Pina; Wayne Souto, Jr; 4 daughters: Keoscha Pina; Kaelyn Pina; Kiara Souto; Kanazia Souto; all of New Bedford; a brother Chris V. Souto of Miami FL; a sister Leshia Jen Souto of New Bedford; 17 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Wayne was the brother of the late Nathaniel Souto, Jr and Wanda Souto.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA. Interment will follow in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9- 11 AM, prior to the funeral.
