Evelyn Minerva Fox of Ventura, California passed away on December 6th, 2022. Evelyn was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Clara and Leonard Cooper. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh.
Beloved wife of 61 years to Richard. She is survived by sons Richard, Randy (Robin), and Robert (Inna) and 5 grandchildren: Joshua (Vix), Jacob, Emily, Jessica, and Rachel. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Clara Harris and Leonard Cooper; and brother Bernard Cooper.
Evelyn was a duplicate bridge player who achieved Life Master and Bronze Master status. She was a patron of the Santa Barbara Symphony and the Pantages Theater and loved to support the local arts and theaters. Richard and Evelyn were avid travelers, visiting over 42 countries. Her love of opera and traveling allowed her great joy to attend operas in the world’s best opera houses. She volunteered at various local organizations as giving back to the community was important to her.
