STANDISH- Chester Frank Seal Jr., age 72, of Standish, passed away on Dec. 4, 2022, at Mercy Hospital.
He was born in Franklin, Indiana on June 17, 1950, a son of Chester and Ruth (Shaw) Seal. He graduated from Gorham High School and attended CMVTI.
Over the years, Chester worked at his father’s business- Chet’s Auto, and Sappi in Westbrook. He also owned and operated Lakeview Service Center.
Chester will always be remembered for his love of old cars, tending his fire pit, outdoor activities such as fishing and camping, going to yard sales, and most importantly- spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Brenda (Hanscom) Seal; children- Michelle Wilson of Livermore and Aaron Seal of Sebago; his mother- Ruth Seal of Gorham; siblings- Alfred Seal, Evangeline Nelson, Pamela Hulit, and Linda Hulit; his grandchildren- Micaela, Jocelyn, Nicholas, Justin, and Sasha; and his beloved Springer Spaniels- Molly, Rose, and Daisy Mae.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday Dec. 10 at 2 PM at Friendship Cemetery, Rt. 114 in Standish.
