Catherine R. (Pierce) Roberts, age 67, of West Yarmouth, died unexpectedly on November 27, 2022 at Cape Cod Hospital. Catherine was the wife of the late Raymond Roberts (BFD). Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late James D. and Theresa A. (Smith) Pierce.
Catherine was the most beautiful and kind soul to know and could light up any room she walked into with a smile. She lived a very vibrant and full life. She dedicated her life to taking care of others. Catherine was also a devoted wife, and not onlyan amazing mother to her four children and grandchildren, everyone who knew her considered her their “mom” too. Everyone in the neighborhood knew they could depend on Cathy to welcome them in with open arms. She overcame every obstacle she faced within her life, and she did it with grace. Catherine’s favorite times were spent with her family. She really enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach and being close to the ocean and the sun. Catherine also loved football, you could always find her at one of her grandson’s football games on a Sunday. Catherine was free spirited, kind, and beyond generous. Catherine was known for making the hard times just a little bit lighter.
Catherine was the loving mother of Shannon Baker and her husband Kenneth of Whitman, Jarred Roberts and Jamie Roberts both of West Yarmouth and the late Joshua Roberts. She was the grandmother of Brianna Roberts-Dias, Miah Baker, Noah Roberts, Cody Roberts, Kenny Baker and Tyler Baker. She was the sister of Colleen Pierce of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Mary Turnello and John Pierce and aunt of Brittany, Ashley and Courtney Gregor and Robert Turnello, Jr. and Kristin Turnello.
A private family service will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
