Shane M. Ripley - O'Neil, age 25, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 21, 2022. He was the beloved son of Brooke C. O'Neil and her loving companion Jamie Steadman of Woburn, Michael D. Ripley and his wife Kim of Hampton, NH. Stepson of the late Keith Ryan.
Shane was raised and educated in Woburn and was a 2015 graduate of Woburn Memorial High School. From T-Ball through high school Shane loved playing Baseball. In his leisure time Shane loved listening to music which brought great comfort, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. He also loved to watch television and over and over would watch Adam Sandler movies, Family Guy and Impractical Jokers, the little things made him smile. He loved snacking on pistachios and popcorn, and loved his mother's cooking especially her chicken, ziti and broccoli. Shane cherished time with his family and was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by his son Aleczander Hegarty, siblings; Alexa Ryan, Madison Ryan, and Jade Johnson. Stepbrother of Keith Ryan Jr., Kerri Pennell, Shawn, Mathew, and Kaylee Merrifield. Grandson of Robert O'Neil and his wife Margaret and the late Dolores O'Neil, Charles and Deborah Ripley. Further survived by his great aunt Patricia O'Neil, uncle Eric Ripley, aunt Sheila Ripley, and cousin Chloe Quinlan.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 29th, at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
