Bridget M. Laidlaw, of Medford, formerly of Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland, passed away on November 18th. Beloved mother of Barry Laidlaw and his wife Keri-Anne of Melrose, Brendan Laidlaw of San Jose, CA, Kerry Laidlaw of Medford and Brian Laidlaw and his wife Joelle of Tewksbury. Loving grandmother of Alissa, Madigan, Meaghan, Kaleigh, Taelynn, Bria and Jaxon. Dear sister of Kay Horgan of New York, Pat Dugan of New York, James Hussey of County Kerry, Ireland and the late Thomas Hussey, Helen Murphy, Ann Little and Liam Hussey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bridget immigrated to Medford from Ireland at the age of 16. For many years she enjoyed being a daycare provider for many area children. She enjoyed her Irish heritage, especially celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with family and friends at the Irish American Club in Malden. First and foremost, Bridget enjoyed the company of her family. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday November 26th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday November 25th from 4-7 PM.
