Nancy A. Brown, 81, of West Church Street, Greenville, died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Heritage Hills Nursing Home.
Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Howard C. and Elizabeth G. (Richardson) Lewis. She had most recently lived in Greenville for 13 years and had previously lived in North Providence for seven years.
Nancy retired from AAA after 10 years. She had also worked for Prudential and Blue Cross. She was a 1959 graduate of Bay View Academy. She was a volunteer for the Smithfield School Department, enjoyed sewing, decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters: Nancy Fawal and her husband, Nabil, of Rutland, MA, Patti Hien of Lincoln and Sharon Vredenburg and her husband, Rob of Smithfield, her twelve grandchildren, a brother, Warren Lewis and his wife, Barbara of Riverside and a sister, Barbara Skober and her husband, John of Swansea, MA as well as nieces and nephews, god children and her friends at McIntosh Estates. She was the sister of the late Howard and Ralph Lewis and mother in law of the late Randy Hien.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
