Laura A. Aversano of Lynn, MA formerly of Medford MA passed away unexpectedly on November 15th 2022.
Laura was born on October 4, 1968 to the late Alexander Aversano of Hampton, NH and Anne E. Ritchie (Stonis) of South Boston, MA. Laura graduated from Medford High Vocational Cosmetology Program in 1987 where she went on to become a hairdresser and stylist for many years. Laura was a beautiful soul who truly loved her kids more than she loved life itself. Despite all her suffering she is finally at peace and with her mother and father. We will forever love and miss you, look for you in the sky, every sunset and ray of sunshine we will be thinking of you. You will continue to make us shine, Mom.
Beloved mother to Jade Chagnon her husband Timothy Lamy of Braintree as well as Katie and her husband Leonard Murphy of South Hadley. Grandmother of Timothy Lamy and Ryan Lamy. Sister of Glenn Ritchie of Medford and his wife Margo Ritchie, Gary Ritchie and his wife Lisa Ritchie, Robert Ritchie, Annett Mullen, and Michael Aversano, the late Wayne Ritchie and Kevin Ritchie. Laura is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins as well.
Services will be private at this time. We will be contacting people in the spring for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made in Laura’s name to the Medford High Cosmetology Program.
