Obituary

BILLERICA William George ‘Bill’ Vivier, 90, of Billerica, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his home. He was the widower of the late Alma Alice (Kyajohnian) Vivier who passed away in 2016.

A son of the late Leo and the late Victoria (LaPorte) Vivier, he was born January 14, 1932, in Lowell, and was educated in the the local schools, graduating from St. Joseph’s High School.

Bill served with the United States Air Force for over twenty years and was an electronics technician for the Department of Defense working mostly between Gloucester and the North Shore.

Bill loved visiting area casinos and taking cruises, sometimes twice per year. In addition, he loved to cook and entertain, and being very tech savvy he loved anything to do with electronics. He will be remembered for living life to its fullest. He loved to go dancing years ago at Hanscom Air Force Base Club for many years. He would often drive through to reminisce about old times. He loved to travel and to take rides along the coast and ‘explore’ whenever he could.

His is survived by his brother, Maurice 'Moe' Vivier of Dracut; his children, Sandie Harrington of Dracut, Pam Vivier-Thresher of Dracut, Julie Dunderdale of Lancaster, NH, and Paula Vivier-Porcelli of Sterling; his step children, Karen Garabedian and her husband, Richard, of Merrimac, Kenneth Larivee and his fiancé, Barbara Mahoney of Windham, NH, Leslie Nutter of Nashua, and Tammy O'Connell and her husband Bill of Billerica; as well as his many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was a brother of the late Leo Vivier and the late Robert Vivier.
