Mary Anne (Zagame) Oldford 74, of Franklin, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family Tuesday November 15, 2022 at the Blaire House of Milford, following a long battle with cancer.
Born September 19, 1948, in Boston, a daughter of the late Louis A. and Anna R. (Sorbello) Zagame, she was a resident of Franklin for many years.
She was raised and educated in the Roslindale section of Boston and earned an associate degree form the Massachusetts College of Art.
Mary Anne worked as a technical recruiter for Computer Horizons, until her retirement.
She was devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed hosting holidays.
Mary Anne was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Franklin and was a founding member of the Sarcoma Sunflower Brigade, a cancer support group. She also enjoyed all types of art.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher L. and his wife Susan of Wrentham and Stephen A. and his wife Marie of Medway and her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Kylie, Sophia and Anthony.
She also leaves her former husband Norman L. Oldford and his wife Donna of Franklin, their children, Nicole & Marc, her lifelong friend Judy Izzi-Budal of Rhode Island, cousins and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday Nov. 30th, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Tuesday Nov. 29th, from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
