William Joseph Cannon of Dorchester MA passed away at the age of 93 on Sunday Nov. 13 2022. Bill was predeceased by his mother Mary (Reardon) Ducharme of Norwich Connecticut & his father Lawrence Cannon of West roxbury mass.
Bill was born and raised in Chelsea & Revere. At the age of 18 he signed up for the US Navy and fought the Korean War loading torpedoes on his ship. After the navy he worked for 30 years at the Ford plant.
He became family to his neighbor (Paula) and her children for many years and he added so much joy to their lives. He was a sweet man with so much character. He will be sadly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Monica's Church, South Boston Monday Nov 21 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mass National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 p.m.
