Robert was a Marine Sergeant in the Korean War. He began his professional career at Boston Edison as a lineman and after earning his degree at Northeastern, he became a part of the management team. Our papa was a true Renaissance man with many interests, hobbies and areas of expertise: artist, musician, bicyclist, gardener, photographer, avid reader, technology expert, electrician, and do it yourself hobbyist. If you needed something, he had it. As a matter of fact, he probably had two. He was the kindest man and we are all so proud of him. He was truly an example to the world as to how to live a meaningful, pure and compassionate life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Parish (formerly St. John the Evangelist) Canton Saturday morning November 26th at 10:30. Visiting hours are at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., CANTON Saturday morning prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 10:00. A special thank you to the Brigham and Women’s ICU staff for their love and care in his final days.
