East Bridgewater- Clifford Nickerson, a 40 year resident of East Bridgewater, died on May 24 at the Brockton Hospital after a long illness. He was 64. He was the beloved husband of the late Donna (Fee) Nickerson.
Born in Boston, he was raised & educated in Weymouth.
He served with the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Nickerson worked for 24 years as a machinist at Boston Gear in Quincy.
He enjoyed woodworking & building various projects in his garage.
He is survived by his children, Michael Nickerson of Halifax, Gary Nickerson & Rhonda Nickerson, both of East Bridgewater; his brother, Richard Nickerson of Mashpee; his sister, Vivian Lee Wilson of TN; and 5 grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Harvey Nickerson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, at 10 am. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
Visiting hours are on Friday from 4-8 pm.
