Marilyn “Mal” Srebnick of Medford passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Raised and educated in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Pacé “Pat” and Mary (Mack) D’Antilio. Marilyn was a member of the first graduating class in a new Hematology Program at Northeastern University and was employed by the Mount Auburn Hospital Hematology Lab as a lab technician for over 30 years where she worked tirelessly for her doctors and patients.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late David Srebnick, and the devoted mother of Jason Srebnick and his wife Michelle of Chelmsford, Lynette Desharnais of Medford, and Joshua Srebnick and his wife Kathy of Salem, New Hampshire. She was the loving grandmother “Grammal” of Cameron, Kyle, Julia, Emma and Calla, and dear sister of Betsy Phillips and Ralph D’Antilio. “Auntie Mal” is also survived by her loving nieces Lisa Griffin and Tracie Patterson and nephew Derek D’Antilio and their families. She was a doting and faithful dog-mom to her cherished Winni. She is also survived by innumerable friends, other family members, and grand-dogs Stoli, Olive, and Preslee.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Friday, November 18 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
There will be a bereavement luncheon following the burial at Café Escadrille in Burlington, MA.
