Mrs. Jean M. (Tait) Brace, 97, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Care One Wilmington.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Walter S. and Effie (Howland) Tait, she emigrated to the United States in 1956, and had resided on Anthony Road in Tewksbury. She was formerly a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Burlington.
She leaves a son, Gerald L. Brace and his wife Lynne M. (Berthiaume) Brace of Brunswick, ME; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn (Apruzzese) Brace of Tewksbury who was the wife of her late son, Colin W. Brace; her late brother, Gerald W. Tait of N.B., Canada; four grandchildren, Aaron Brace and his wife Kari, Leslie Witham and her husband Tom, Charlotte Brace and Colin L. Brace; Two great grandchildren Lydia and Lara Witham, as well as several nieces and nephews, and friends, including a close family friend John Daughenbaugh.
On Saturday, November 19, relatives and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876, 978-851-2061.
Her Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
